Welcome to Term 3

Welcome back for another big term of learning. Mrs Baldwin hopes everyone had a relaxing and WARM 2 week break! Term 3 is always the busiest of the 4 terms with loads of activities that will keep us on the go for 10 weeks.

Here is just some of the things to loom forward to in the next few weeks…

Swimming lessons

Narrative Writing – book making

Maths – Fractions, Money, Measurement

Designing our own Classroom Inquiry

Geography – Focusing on Africa, South America and Australia

Science – Rock and Soil Types, weathering and erosion

ICT – typing, imovies, Storybird

Book Week 2017

 

There will be many many more exciting things that will pop up this term, even a few fundraisers!

Room 10 will also be having a 4th year Student Teacher this term. We have not met her yet, but we are very excited because she will be teaching us some fantastic things along with Mrs Baldwin!

  1. Dear Ms Baldwin The activity I am looking forward is book week because I like dressing up as my favourite book characters. In the holidays my cousins and my Aunties and Uncles and my Nanny and Grandpa visited us for a week.

    This term I am looking forward to swimming because it’s fun and we get to go in the cold pool.
    And what i did in my holiday was i went to the city and went to the art museum and saws a lot of staffing stuff and ten we had lunch.😀

    I am looking forward to Maths because I like counting high numbers.I went to the gold coast in QueensLand and it was in Surfers Paradise and we stayed in a Hotel called Bell Air and we across pacific fair which is a shopping center for 10 days and I went to my friends house and lots of sleepovers because he was my best friend.

    what Im looking forward to this term is swimming because I love water and I love swimming.
    In the holidays I went to go see the new Despicable me 3 and it was really funny and I also watched the Goones.

    What I did in the holidays was going to the farm and seeing my cousin and riding my grans rtv and getting stumps good bye.

    The thing I’m looking most forward to is the new maths lessons. its because i really like maths thats why i am looking most forward to the new math lessons.

    The most exciting thing I did in the holidays is going to my aunties house. The reason why is we got to make delicious cookies there!

    The thing that I’m looking forward the most this term is the maths lesson because were going to have a new one.

    The thing that me and my dad did in the holidays is went to Ireland and traveled all over there. We went to the Giants Causeway , Killarney ,
    The Wax Museum and Photo Wildlife Park.

    This term i’am looking forward to swimming lessons because its really fun to play with your friends and have fun also I like swimming.

    In the holidays me and my family we went to the movies 3 times and watched Wonder Woman, Despicable Me 3 and Diary of A Wimpy Kid The Long Hall.

    Also it was my birthday and we went out to dinner the day before and I got lots of presents and it was so fun also we went to marion on my birthday and we went shopping .We had sushi for lunch and pizza and cookies and cream tart thing for dinner.

    the things i was looking forward to the most is swimming because i get to spend time with friends

    in the holidays i went to Ochs for two days the first day i held a snake & a crocodile i patted a chicken & a dog i also
    fed some possums the second day i did a pattern game and a detailed dance off and a disco and laser skirmish and a huge hamster ball on friday i went to a claymation creation centre and i went to a winter festival.

    What I’m looking forward to this term is book week! I have already got my costume and hair style done and I can’t wait!

    What me and my family done in the holidays was all diffrent things including seeing my cousin’s and my friends and going to work with my mum

    I am looking forward to having a student teacher in our class because she can teach us some new things and it will be good to have another teacher in the room.

    Me and my mum, Shayla,her mum and my sister went to bounce and i went to my aunties house for lunch she has a dog and it is white and very fluffy and small i dressed the dog in a cute bumble bee costume and i holded it all day.

    Im looking forward to swimming lesson because I like to swim and it would be fun to have a swim.

    In the holidays my cousins had a sleepover for 6 days and than we slept over for 2 days I also skyped Lucena.
