  1. Dear Mrs Baldwin,
In my words “Look In The Mirror….That’s Your Competition” means that you are competing against your self and trying to beat your own record.
Sometimes you should compare your self with others, just like your in a competition you need to know your score like if you win but didn’t know the score you wouldn’t know if you won.
    QUESTION:
How would you describe “Look In The Mirror….That’s Your Competition”

    Thank’s Karina

    1. Dear Karina,
Well done on thinking carefully about the quote. I would describe the quote as when you look in the mirror you see yourself. You are your own competition.

  2. Dear Mrs Baldwin,

I think that this quote means that you are your competition not anybody else and always try to bet yourself and never give up

    1. Dear Anah,
Thats a realy good explanation Anah , thats what I think about this quote but I wrote it differently.
      Thanks Karina

  3. Dear Mrs Baldwin

I think that this quote means that you should only have yourself as a competition. So like if you want to be good at maths you try to beat yourself to get better not the best person in the class because if you are not as good as the best person in the class you may get really frustrated.

I think you should not compare yourself to others otherwise you may have a very hard life

  4. Dear Mrs Baldwin
I think this quote means don’t compare your self to others just compare your self to you and I don’t think you should compare your self to others just you.
    From Kayley

  5. Dear Mrs Baldwin,
I think the quote means look in the mirror you are who you are and challenge your self because you can .

I don’t think you should compare yourself to others because you will probably think they’re better than you and your bad. So don’t compare yourself to others even if they think your bad at stuff like reading and if those people don’t want to play with you. Go find someone else to play with and you will enjoy yourself much more.

PS. To people out there .I have had trouble with this stuff and I got over it and went to play with someone else.

  6. Dear Mrs Baldwin

I think the quote means don’t worry about other people and think about your work.

  7. Dear Mrs Baldwin
I think that it means do not compare yourself
and do not change to be friends with someone.
You should compare yourself to any one because
    everyone has differant abilities.

  8. Dear Mrs Baldwin,
I think “look in the mirror… that’s your competition” means just worry about yourself try and beat your own high score.

You shouldn’t compare yourself to other people because what if someone was really good at something for E.G someone is really good at spelling and your not as good it would be very hard to beat them, just compete against yourself.

  9. Dear Mrs Baldwin,
I think the quote “Look in the mirror. . . that’s your competition” means that your trying to beat yourself instead of your friends.

I think you shouldn’t compete with your mates because what if your mate is really good at maths but your really bad, it will only make you feel bad that your not as good as them.
And your mates will feel jealous of you because your better at another subject.
    From Ilya

  10. Dear Mrs Baldwin, I really DO Not think you should compare your self to others because you can feel sad if your not as high or you could brag and they would be sad.

A quote is a good lesson in life to learn. In other words it can be very helpful.
    From Megan
